ABI VINE

Born in Bradford, West Yorksire, Abi Vine first came to Mallorca in May 1967 when she was only 6 months old. In 1968, her family built a house in Puerto Pollensa and in 1999, she came to live on the island permanently. With a B.A. (Hons.) degree in American Studies and Divinity from the University of Liverpool, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Library & Information Studies from the former Liverpool Polytechic (now Liverpool John Moores University), Abi worked in the information profession in the United Kingdom before moving to the Balearics. Abi has worked in the tourist industry in Mallorca for the last 10 years and is currently working in customer services for Viajes Urbis in Palma.
