Committee 2011

Europeos por España was set up by a group of European citizens living in the Calvia area of Mallorca who found that a large number of those eligible to vote in Municipal elections were not registered on the census and therefore could not vote.

The aims of the association are:

  1. To promote the integration and active participation of European citizens in political life in Spain.
  2. To encourage citizens to register (the Padrón) in their municipality of residence and on the Census of EU residents, thereby enabling them to vote in local and European elections.
  3. To provide assistance and information to contribute to the perception of political reality, acting as a "lobby" so that EU citizens can participate in national elections, regional, and municipal.
