Europeos por España was set up by a group of European citizens living in the Calvia area of Mallorca who found that a large number of those eligible to vote in Municipal elections were not registered on the census and therefore could not vote.

The aims of the association are:
- To promote the integration and active participation of European citizens in political life in Spain.
- To encourage citizens to register (the Padrón) in their municipality of residence and on the Census of EU residents, thereby enabling them to vote in local and European elections.
- To provide assistance and information to contribute to the perception of political reality, acting as a "lobby" so that EU citizens can participate in national elections, regional, and municipal.
