European Union citizens resident in Spain (CERE) electoral census

Those EU citizens resident in a Member State of which they are not nationals may take part in these elections. In order to be recorded in the electoral census, and therefore included in the lists of elections for the European Parliament and Municipal, it is necessary to be on the municipal register and to have expressed a wish to vote.

Persons who have, at any point, already stated their intention to vote in Spain in the European Parliament elections or Municipal elections, are included in the electoral census, this option being permanent during such time as they are resident in Spain, unless where formally requesting otherwise.

Your census situation may be consulted at the Council of the municipality where you are resident until 27 April for the 7 June European Parliament elections, and submit a claim where appropriate.
